About me

Welcome, my name is Veronika and I create under the name of DioneDesign.

When I started to crochet toys for our son during my first pregnancy in 2011,
I couldn't even imagine that the world of crocheted toys - Amigurumi - will soon absorb me completely .
Today I can not imagine my life without the ever-present yarn balls, hooks, stuffing and safety eyes.

I am a crochet addict mum of two sons, a wife of amazing man, who always supports me in everything I do and has sympathy for my addictions and an ordinary girl that loves cooking, nature, traveling, mountains, music, and sports.

It's been almost four years since I crocheted my first toy . It was the pony Luna. Since that time I designed more than 50 toys and decorations.

But what was before? I am creative since I was born . I inherited this gift from my amazing mum who is one big creative soul. In the elementary school I attended an art group, I was sewing dresses for dolls , knitting , for a while
I was painting on silk and ceramics. When I was teenager , I fell in love with beads and started threading.  Soon I was literally coated in beads . But none of these techniques have fully absorbed me .

First it happened in 2010, when I discovered Polymer clay and started making jewelry.  Soon I satisfied my family and friends, and I began to sell the jewelry and I think I did pretty well.

So this is me and my work and I WELCOME you in my Amigurumi World. I hope you will like it and be inspired...
